Department Overview

In response to the increasing public awareness and demand for traditional medicine, our hospital offers comprehensive integrated care combining Western and Traditional Medicine. We are committed to developing traditional medical services and providing the Hsinchu community with diverse and holistic medical care, promoting the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Scope of Services

We primarily provides outpatient services, and also offers consultations for inpatients in coordination with Western medicine. Services include:

• Internal medicine 

• Gynecology

• Pediatrics

• Acupuncture

• Orthopedics and Tui-na (therapeutic massage)

Through interdisciplinary care and integrated medical teams, we aim to deliver high-quality, patient-centered treatment.

Looking ahead, we plan to expand services to the Veterans’ Home and the hospital-affiliated Nursing Home, in collaboration with the main branch of Taipei Veterans General Hospital, offering comprehensive care for local residents and veterans.

Responsibilities

• Providing outpatient services and inpatient consultations

• Planning and promoting relevant medical and administrative operations

• Advancing academic development, clinical teaching, and research

• Supporting continuing medical education and training for physicians

• Maintaining academic exchange and cooperation with the Department of Traditional Medicine at the main hospital
