Department Introduction

Our department was established in September 1955.
Currently, we have three part-time attending physicians and one full-time audiologist.
We are honored to have Director Professor Dr. Huang Jun-Hao assisting the hospital in balanced development across the four pillars of service, teaching, research, and humanities, providing patients with professional and compassionate care.

Medical Specialties:
In addition to general ENT diagnosis and treatment, our department specializes in the following areas:

• Ear: Hearing impairment, tinnitus, vertigo, hearing aid fitting, cochlear implant surgery.

• Nose: Minimally invasive nasal surgery, stereotactic nasal surgery, rhinoplasty.

• Throat: Local anesthesia vocal cord injections, treatment for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.

• Oral cavity, pharynx, and head & neck tumors: Integrated multidisciplinary treatment.

• Head and neck pain, autonomic nervous system disorders.

Services Provided:

• Ear: Vertigo, tinnitus, hearing aid fitting, external otitis, otitis media, tympanic membrane repair, sudden hearing loss.

• Nose: Allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal polyps, septal deviation correction, endoscopic sinus surgery.

• Throat: Snoring and obstructive sleep apnea surgery, voice surgery, treatment of oral and pharyngeal diseases.

• Head and Neck Surgery: Thyroid tumors, salivary gland tumor surgery, management of neck masses.
