Department Overview

Our Urology physicians have received comprehensive training at Taichung and Taipei Veterans General Hospitals, specializing in urology. With many years of clinical experience, they continuously participate in related conferences and continuing education to stay updated with the latest knowledge and techniques. Due to their dedication, the department has gained trust from patients and recognition from the general public.

Our department specializes in the transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), effectively restoring smooth urination with safe surgical procedures. For urinary tract stones, we provide extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and ureteroscopic lithotripsy and stone removal (URS-SM) using state-of-the-art equipment. We also perform circumcision, varicocele surgery, vasectomy, various endoscopic examinations, and biopsies.

Additionally, our urology team is proficient in surgeries for common conditions such as inguinal hernia, hydrocele, and phimosis.
