By High-Speed Rail (HSR)

Disembark at Hsinchu HSR Station (Zhubei) — about 14 km from the hospital.

By Taiwan Railways (TRA)

Take the Neiwan Line and get off at Zhudong Station. Travel time from Hsinchu Station ≈ 30 min.

From Zhudong Station

• Bus: Express 6 or Express 8 to “Veterans Hospital” stop

• YouBike: 2.3 km (≈ 10 min) ride to hospital

• Walk: ≈ 2 km along Beixing Road to main gate

By Long-distance Bus

From Taipei Bus Station (Guoguang Bus Routes 1820 / 1821)

• Alight at “Veterans Hospital” stop in front of hospital

• Fare: NT$ 161 | Time: ≈ 2 hours

• Service hours: 05:50 – 22:10 (every 30–60 min)

• EasyCard accepted

Tip: Traffic on Friday evenings and weekends may cause delays.

By Car

Parking: Enter main gate, surface lot on left (license-plate recognition). Pay at exit or Emergency Tower 1F machine (EasyCard accepted).

Recommended Routes:

• National Highway No. 1: Exit 95A (Hsinchu) → Expressway 68 → Zhongfeng Rd. → Hospital

• National Highway No. 3: Exit 90 (Zhulin) → Qionglin → Expressway 68 → Hospital

• Provincial Highway No. 3: At 74.7 km mark, turn into hospital main gate

• Highway 61 (West Coastal): Transfer to Expressway 68 toward Zhudong

• Fastest: HSR + Taxi (≈ 30 min from Zhubei HSR)

• Most Economical: Guoguang Bus (Taipei → Zhudong, ≈ 2 hrs)

• Most Scenic: Provincial Highway No. 3 or TRA Neiwan Line
