Emergency Information

  1. Please first proceed to the Triage Station in the Emergency Room.
A nurse will assist you by asking about your condition and checking your vital signs to determine whether emergency registration is appropriate.
If so, please go to the registration counter to register for emergency care.
  2. At the Emergency Registration Window, please present your ID card, National Health Insurance (NHI) IC card, and any concession or discount certificates.
First-time patients must also fill out a new patient form.
  3. Proceed to the Emergency Waiting Area and wait to be seen.
The doctor will determine the order of consultation based on the triage level and registration sequence.
  4. The doctor will perform a consultation and provide treatment, and may order necessary tests, emergency surgery, or medications depending on your condition.
  5. Based on the patient’s condition, the doctor will decide whether:
    • You may be discharged,
    • You should remain in observation (for monitoring before a final decision), or
    • You need to be admitted to the hospital.
  6. For discharge, please pay your fees at any outpatient or emergency registration/payment counter.
Show your concession documents (such as a Catastrophic Illness Card or Veterans ID).
After payment, please proceed to the pharmacy to collect your medications.
  7. For hospital admission, please go to the payment counter to pay fees and complete admission procedures.
Present your concession documents (such as a Catastrophic Illness Card or Veterans ID) and settle all emergency-related charges.
  8. Emergency staff will assist in transferring you to the ward for further treatment.
